About FRSL

Fulford Radiology Services Ltd (Fulford Radiology) is a progressive and enterprising imaging company based in Taranaki, a joint venture entity between Taranaki District Health Board and Taranaki Radiologists Limited.  

It provides all District Health Board-funded radiology services in the region, as well as being able to offer the full range of hi-tech imaging facilities as a private service to the general public.

The unique way that Fulford Radiology is structured enables it to provide to our small Taranaki region, radiology services that would normally only be found in major centres of population. Fulford is committed to providing the highest standard of care, coupled with technologically advanced equipment.

Fulford Radiology provides a full range of radiology services for both public and private patients. General X-Ray services are offered throughout Taranaki, with specialised and "high tech" services such as CT, MRI Scanning, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and interventional procedures carried out in New Plymouth.  

The management team consists of the Managing Partner, Administration Manager and the Clinical Imaging Manager. The company is governed by a four member board which meets quarterly.

Fulford Radiology Services Ltd is the only fully integrated (public and private) radiology service in the country and represents a high level of co-operation and foresight on the part of its shareholders. It is seen as a model for the future in the provision of radiology services and other practices and health organisations have visited the site to learn the structure and methodology of operations. Robust processes have been implemented to manage employment, suppliers and service contracts.
